What Is Included in the Home Inspection Warranty?
- $500 Mechanical Coverage
- $2,000 Structural Coverage
- $0 Deductible
Claims can be submitted within 90 days of inspection or 22 days after closing (whichever comes later).
Mechanical Systems Coverage
- Plumbing systems (water lines, faucets, water heaters, drain lines, gas lines)
- Electrical systems (main panel, secondary service panel, and wiring)
- Kitchen appliances, including oven, range, dishwasher, built-in microwave, trash compactor, and garbage disposal
- Heating and air systems, including furnace, air conditioner, and thermostats
Structural Coverage
- Poured concrete and block wall foundations
- Floor joists, bottom and top plates, and wall members
- Load-bearing walls
- Attached garage doors
- Roof leak repairs (does not include replacement of bad shingles)
Your protection doesn’t stop after the first 90 days.
- Up to $3,000 in roof leak repairs
- $500 deductible per leak
- Coverage is good within 5 years from the inspection date
- Coverage starts on the 91st day
- Applies to most residential roof types, including asphalt/composition shingles, slate, metal, tile, and non-commercial flat roofs
This service contract covers only the home itself and specifically excludes other structures.
- Up to $2,000 in mold remediation coverage
- $300 deductible
- Covers remediation of new visible mold on permanently installed surfaces
- Applies when no visible mold or moisture issues were reported during the inspection
Claims can be submitted within 90 days from the date of inspection or 22 days after closing, whichever comes later.
- Up to $2,000 in repair coverage for each line
- $4,000 aggregate per policy
- $300 deductible
- Covers water supply lines and sewer waste lines
If a sewer scope is performed and comes back free and clear, coverage lasts 6 months from the inspection date. If not, coverage lasts 90 days from inspection or 22 days after closing, whichever comes later.

How to File a Warranty Claim
- Visit SubmitYourClaim.net and log in or create an account
- Click New Claim in the portal
- Complete the questionnaire with your home, warranty, occupancy, sale conditions, and key dates
- Upload a repair estimate and/or inspection report
- Provide a brief description of your claim
- Click Submit Claim
Once all required items are submitted, claims are typically processed within 72 hours.
