Manufactured Home Certifications
For HUD Compliance
HomeTeam is partnered with an engineering company to perform foundation inspections for HUD (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development) compliance on manufactured homes.
For your manufactured home’s foundation to become HUD certified, a structural inspection will need to be completed to ensure safety standards. HomeTeam will check to see if the manufactured home is permanently tied down, verify proper drainage, and determine whether the house will drift off the foundation or pier. HUD enforces overall safety measures for the construction, design, and installation of these homes to assure the quality, durability, and affordability of them.
A report will be generated for you by our partnered engineering company —this will take two to three days to complete. They will then certify your home (or not) based on the criteria above. To guarantee loan financing for your manufactured home, make sure it’s structurally sound and get certified.
